Dr. Monique C. Johnson
Dr. Monique C. Johnson is a Diversity Consultant who is passionate about helping schools, organizations and individuals learn, grow and change in ways that make a difference in our world.
She is Owner and Principal Consultant of Dr. MCJ Consulting, a business focused on diversity consulting and partnering with organizations to help communicate, collaborate and create their best outcomes. As an educator, her goal has always been to help others challenge their thinking and expand their worldview.
Her background includes over 20 years of combined experience working with school districts, colleges and universities, and non-profit organizations. To her credit, she has facilitated highly effective programs focused on Service Learning, Mentoring, Reading and Diversity and Inclusion. Dr. Johnson’s professional roles past and present include Consultant, Administrator, Assistant Professor and Program Director.
She holds a doctorate degree in Counselor Education with a focus in Higher Education Administration and a minor in Human Resource Development for Trainers from the Pennsylvania State University. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. She is also a board certified Counselor.

- Create content and facilitate the Cultural Proficiency Initiative.
- Train the Champions.
- Support the Teacher on Special Assignment with cultural diversity initiatives.
Aisha Moore is an experienced educator with 18 years of teaching experience in Lakota Local Schools. She is currently serving as a "teacher on special assignment" for Lakota's Cultural Proficiency Initiative.
Aisha began her career at Shawnee Elementary and transitioned to VanGorden, Adena and Cherokee. She has held leadership positions on the Building Leadership Team (BLT) at Cherokee, and holds an executive leadership position for the Lakota Education Association. To further develop her passion for education, Aisha is also employed as an adjunct faculty member at Cincinnati State Community College in the Early Childhood Education Department. Over the past five years, she has taught child psychology, literature and currently teaches introduction to education.
Having taught in Lakota Local Schools for many years, Aisha has experienced and observed tremendous change and growth. The diversity in our district mirrors the population at large.
Aisha prides herself in building special rapport with all of her students. She understands and cares for students as her own. Her deep-rooted philosophy is that part of her role as a teacher is to help students discover their unique talent and skills. She also enjoys teaching and sharing her experience with aspiring teachers.
Aisha holds a masters of education degree in Curriculum and Instruction and a bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education from Wright State University.
