If you haven’t been to a Lakota After Prom Preview before, make it a point to do it this year.

Lakota East’s theme is “Road Trip” and the school’s Main Street will be transformed with city skylines, campsites, and even the Golden Gate Bridge!

Lakota West will become one giant carnival, complete with boardwalk games, jugglers, carnival food and more.

Everyone is invited to attend these special After Prom sneak previews. After Prom events give students a fun, yet safe environment to continue their prom night experience, and they are sponsored by the schools’ parent teacher organizations. Hundreds of volunteers and generous donations from the community make each of these After Prom events possible.

Lakota East’s “Road Trip”

Road trip logoEast students will take a “Road Trip” at After Prom where they will travel from our Queen City to destinations like New York, the National Parks, California, the Beach and Atlantic City's Boardwalk.  With a free big prize raffle in New Orleans and a LIVE illusionist show in Las Vegas, participants’ time will quickly fly by!

The community is invited to attend an open house on Saturday, April 22 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thanks to many sponsors, students will enjoy inflatables, pedal car and trike races, mini-golf, caricature artists, casino tables, giant games and even go on a Yeti hunt.  A "Pit Stop" will be stocked with free food and toilet races!

“West Boardwalk – After Dark”

This year's Lakota West After Prom takes the carnival theme and amps it up for our high school students. Over 500 attendees will enjoy a professional hypnotist show, professional palm and tarot card readers, jugglers, stilt walkers, magician show, crazy critters, airbrush art T-Shirts, character artists, boardwalk games, carnival food, movie room, black light putter golf, a full size roller coaster inflatable, prizes and so much more!  If you can find it on a Boardwalk, West will have it at After Prom 2017.

The community preview will take place on Saturday, April 29 from 6 to 7 p.m. Students will attend from midnight until 4 a.m.
