Community Advisory: East Freshman Site of Dec. 28 Police Training
Posted on 12/05/2016

In an ongoing effort to partner with local law enforcement in the interest of student safety, Lakota East Freshman is opening up its doors for an all-day police training on Wednesday, Dec. 28.

The Butler County Sheriff’s Office will lead a special training of their K-9 units, alongside other county police departments. The school provides an ideal space to simulate a variety of K-9 response scenarios that might take place in schools and other public domains.

Besides student-athletes reporting to a dedicated space for practices, the general public is advised to stay off the premises. Questions may be directed to East Freshman School Resource Officer Todd Cordes at todd.cordes@lakotaonline.com
