Lakota School Board Welcomes Two New Members, Elects Leaders

Todd Parnell commenced a second term, joining current board members Lynda O’Connor and Julie Shaffer.

The board elected Shaffer to lead the group as president during 2018 and Lovell to fill the position as vice president.

The school board also approved a number of committee assignments:

  • Policy Committee: Todd Parnell, Brad Lovell

  • Community Engagement Committee: Kelley Casper, Julie Shaffer

  • Finance Committee: Kelley Casper, Lynda O'Connor

  • Legislative Committee: Brad Lovell, Lynda O'Connor

  • Diversity Committee: Todd Parnell, Julie Shaffer

Regular meeting dates were set for the second and fourth Mondays of each month at 6:30 p.m., with the exception of July, November and December. These dates will be set at a future meeting.
