To celebrate the ruby anniversary, members of the community were invited to explore Liberty Junior as it is today and reminisce about the days of yesterday. Approximately 500 guests were greeted at the door by student ambassadors. They were treated to musical performances by several of the school’s bands and select vocal ensemble. Guests were also able to interact with students as they demonstrated work in the STEM (see photo) and Arts departments.

The open house also showcased the Liberty Junior of yesteryear with a slide show playing in the cafeteria. Principal Eric Bauman was very pleased with the day. “It was a great afternoon to reconnect with former members of the Liberty Junior community. I’m very proud of our staff and students who made our open house possible.”
