WE are Personalized winter 2020 "A Look Around Lakota" coverSeveral times a year, Lakota produces a community newsletter to help parents and residents stay informed about important district-wide news and updates. The piece is mailed to every household and business in West Chester Township and Liberty Township for just 20 cents per piece.

The winter 2020 edition, titled "WE are Personalized", will be mailed to all residents next week. If you do not receive a copy at your home or if you need additional copies, please visit Lakota’s Central Office or any school’s main office.

Copies are also available at the administration buildings for both West Chester and Liberty townships, as well as the West Chester MidPointe Library.

This issue brings Lakota’s emphasis on “Personalized Learning” to life, sharing examples of the district’s four different “plays” in action. Learn exactly how a flipped classroom, project based learning, a flexible playlist and station rotation gives way to a more individualized, student-directed learning experience. Plus, Superintendent Matthew Miller shares the importance of Lakota’s up-and-coming Master Facilities Plan, while Treasurer/CFO Jenni Logan explains the significance of Lakota’s acceptance into the Expedited Local Partnership Program.
