On Nov. 17, Lakota celebrated a very important milestone: three months of in-person learning. A special live video premiere featured students and staff sharing all that they’ve overcome so far this school year.

This school year’s theme, “WE Can,” set the tone for an academic year especially marked by perseverance, grit and determination. With new safety protocols that have altered almost every aspect of the school experience, Lakota students, staff and families have been flexible and patient - all to keep one another safe while giving our kids the best possible education.

During a school year when it’s difficult to actually be an active participant in our schools like we prefer it, here’s one way to still “step inside” our buildings and classrooms and see what school looks like and what students and staff are saying about the year. Thank you to our students, staff, families and friends for standing by us during these challenging times. WE can and will get through this!
