Lakota Local Schools released its COVID-19 protocols for the 2021-2022 school year, including the requirement for students and staff in grades PreK-12 to wear masks while indoors. We understand and respect that this is a very divisive issue, with a lot of emotions and strong feelings on both sides.

The decision to require masks was based on advice from medical experts.
