hall of fameEight new members were inducted into the Lakota Athletic Hall of Fame on March 24, bringing its membership total to 224.


Current Hall of Fame members, coaches past and present, former athletes, community leaders, and family and friends were all in attendance to honor the new inductees.

Mike Ballard, the voice of the Lakota East Thunderhawks for many years, served as master of ceremonies, introducing each inductee and reviewing their accomplishments at Lakota.

"It is amazing to see just how much it means to inductees as they come 'home' to be recognized for their accomplishments," said Stu Eversole,
Lakota's former athletic director who chaired the event. "It is always uplifting and positive to hear them talk about their glory days at Lakota."

The event was held at the Wetherington Golf and Country Club. The inductees included:

Lakota West Class of 2011 (Volleyball)

Jordan Hicks
