Each school year, the Lakota Board of Education re-evaluates the district's open enrollment policy and votes on whether or not to approve its renewal. If renewed, students residing in other Ohio school districts can apply to attend Lakota.

Due to the high volume of returning open enrolled students, at this time we are not accepting first-time applicants for the 2022-2023 school year. Per Board Policy 5113 and Administrative Guidelines, we will only be accepting applications from current Lakota staff, returning open enrolled students and siblings of returning open enrolled students. Applicants may not always receive their first school of choice, depending on the school's base enrollment for students residing within its attendance zone.

Current open enrolled students and current Lakota staff will be receiving an email with directions on how to apply for open enrollment. New staff requests must email enroll@lakotaonline.com to receive an application.

All completed applications must be submitted to enroll@lakotaonline.com by 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 31, 2022.
